Bulgarian national television invited Big band “Sevlievo” conducted by Angel Angelski and the soloists of the orchestra Nora Nikolaeva, Hristina Boteva and Plamen Drashkov to shoot an episode of the TV program “Our music is coming…”. The authors of the program are Daniel Spasov, Emilya Stoianova and Milen Ivanov. All the studio sequences have been taken on 13th of November 2007 in studio 1 of Bulgarian national television. The episode shows the opinions of associate professor d-r Georg Kraev, Gencho Gaitandzhiev – musicologist, a research associate II degree d-r Ventsislav Dimov – ethnomusicologist and music editor in “Darik radio” who expressed his desire to make the music of Big band “Sevlievo” more popular, Todor Todorov – executive director of ensemble “Filip Kutev”, Simeon Miliov – director of Museum of history in Pernik, Biser Grigorov – choreographer.
The program will be broadcasted on 15th December 2007/Saturday/, at 15.55h. on Cannel 1 and satellite channel TV Bulgaria.

In 2006 the orchestra was nominated in “Jazz” section for “Crystal lyre’2006” – annual music awards for best achievements in the past music season. The orchestra was nominated for its concert “45 years with the music of “Sevlievo” orchestra”, which was broadcasted by Channel 1 and the Satellite channel “TV Bulgaria”.

The concert “Vasil Kostov’s marches”, in which the life and work of this famous Bulgarian, born in Sevlievo and who was director of the philharmonic orchestra in Sofia will be presented on 22.02.2007 at 18.00 o’clock in "Mara Belcheva" hall. Momchil Minchev will take part in the concert.

The concert “With the Boris Mashalov’s songs” – folk music concert with the participation of the soloists Hristina Boteva, Nora Nikolaeva, Plamen Drashkov, Hristo Kosashki, Giunaidan Aliev and vocal group “The children of Sevlievo”.

On 28th of February at 18 o’clock in “Mara Belcheva” hall, “Sevlievo” orchestra will perform with the prima of the Bulgarian pop music Yordanka Hristova. The concert is on the occasion of 1st of March – international day of amateur performers and artists.
